Past thoughts still haunting
And from the bleeding sky
Howls a lonely cry

The cry of the void
Engulfs my mind
Leaves me cursed
Broken and blind

A locked gaze at the red sun
Sitting on a horizon so empty
The weight of my bones reaching a tonne
Reality itself seeming so petty

A figure looming
Across the black ocean
Decayed flowers blooming
A growing dark devotion

Prosaic with the poison of life
Memories becoming dull
Emotions sharp as a knife
Piercing the inside of my skull

And sightless I pass
The gates of purgatory
Defeated I crawl
Lost all glory

As chaos is storming
Boiling from within me
One day you will understand
And from light you shall flee
